The new series follows Ross as he explores the remnants of some of the most significant moments in British history, including the site of one of the most famous shipwrecks ever discovered, the Mary Rose.

The brief demanded a journey into the depths of the ocean, but it is also a journey in time. Our talented model and texture artists skillfully employed procedural techniques to recreate the intricate decay of the underwater environment, while our animators meticulously brought Ross to life with extraordinary attention to detail. The result is a mesmerizing visual experience that perfectly aligns with the brief's ambitious vision.
Making Ross Feel ‘Present’
At MBX, we believe that the most powerful stories are rooted in human connection. Because Ross was the heart of our latest animation, it was vital that his personality and presence felt authentic in every single frame.
To maintain Ross's likeness as the central anchor of our animation, we used high-fidelity facial capture to build an exact 3D mesh. This precision allowed us to craft lighting that feels natural and immersive, ensuring he sits perfectly within his suit.
